Incident Summary:

11/22/2011: Unidentified assailants shot and killed Marius Gangale in Kinshasa city, Kinshasa province, Congo. Gangale was a provincial assembly representative for the Movement for the Liberation of Congo (MLC). Gangale and his spouse were in their car in a traffic jam when assailants shot him and demanded his spouse's belongings. No group claimed responsibility and specific motive is unknown; however, elections were little over a week away.
