Incident Summary:

11/23/2011: Members of Al-Shabaab arrested two young men in Afmadow town, Juba region, Somalia. They accused the victims of supporting the Transitional Federal government and Kenyan air strikes. The assailants beheaded the two men, threw their bodies into the center of town, and displayed their heads on November 27, 2011. Al-Shabaab warned residents that they would be punished in a similar manner if they supported government troops.
