Incident Summary:

11/24/2011: An unidentified assailant threw a grenade at a small business on Ngamia Road in Garissa, North Eastern province, Kenya. At least one person died in the attack and at least another four were injured. No group claimed responsibility for the incident and specific motive is unknown; however, officials blame the attack on Al-Shabaab. This was one of two grenade attacks on public businesses in Garissa on the same evening.
