12/05/2011: Assailants abducted Warren Rodwell from his residence in Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay, Philippines. Rodwell, an Australian national, was injured and released after a ransom was paid on March 23, 2013. The Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) claimed responsibility for the attack.
