01/03/2012: A suicide bomber detonated an explosive device attached to a tricycle in Kandahar, Afghanistan. The explosive device was targeting a police post. Six people were killed and 16 injured by the blast. This was one of three attacks in Kandahar on this date. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
