01/20/2012: Assailants opened fire on a pub in Dowara Mashara area, Potiskum Local Government Area, Yobe state, Nigeria. One person died and at least three others were injured in the attack. Nearby soldiers then engaged the assailants, causing them to retreat. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however sources attributed it to Boko Haram.
