01/27/2012: Assailants riding motorcycles and an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) attacked a police station in Mandawari area, Kano city, Kano state, Nigeria. Two police officers were killed in the gunfire. No group claimed repsonsibility, but sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
