Incident Summary:

01/31/2012: Assailants detonated an explosive device in a girls' high school in Katlung area, Derai district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan. Three rooms were completely destroyed, and the other two were damaged in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources noted that the area is situated close to Malakand Agency, where there had earlier been an operation named "Rah-e-Rast" to destroy girls' schools in the area.
