03/17/2012: Assailants attacked an army unit near an oil installation in Arauca, Colombia. Ten soldiers and one officer were killed in the attack, and two other soldiers were wounded. No group claimed responsibility for this attack; however, sources attributed it to the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC).
