Incident Summary:

03/21/2012: Assailants abducted Major Faraj Bin Qahatan, an intelligence officer, from outside the Al-Rayyan Airport in Al Mukalla district, Hadramawt governorate, Yemen. The attackers killed Qahatan later that day. No group claimed responsibility for this attack; however, sources indicated that Al-Qa'ida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) was involved.
