Incident Summary:

03/22/2012: Gunmen attacked a military checkpoint in Dawon Valley, Hadramawt governorate, Yemen. Three soldiers were killed. The assailants also attempted to attack two police stations, but they were repulsed by nearby soldiers. No group claimed responsibility for this incident; however, sources attributed it to Al-Qa'ida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP).
