04/02/2012: Assailants attacked a border police checkpost in Tergeran area, Badakhshan province, Afghanistan. Three police officers were killed, and 11 others were abducted. The abducted police officers were successfully rescued on April 5, 2012. The Taliban claimed responsibility for this attack.
