Incident Summary:

04/28/2012: Assailants opened fire on a Colombian counter-narcotics military and police patrol in Caqueta department, Colombia. Three soldiers and a police officer were killed. Additionally, Romeo Langlois, a French journalist, was kidnapped. Langlois was later released on May 30, 2012. The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) claimed responsibility for the incident.
