05/01/2012: Assailants fired upon Bongani Shelembe, the Msinga Branch Chairman of the National Freedom Party (NFP), while he was in a car traveling in Msinga municipality, KwaZulu-Natal province, South Africa. Shelembe and the secretary of the youth wing of the party were killed in the attack, while Shelembe's assistant was injured. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.

Criteria 1
