05/03/2012: Assailants attacked a prison in Kumshe village, Borno state, Nigeria. This was one of two attacks carried out by these assailants in this area on this night; the first attack was stopped by the police. Two wardens were killed, and all of the prisoners were released. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, officials attributed it to Boko Haram.
