Incident Summary:

05/10/2012: Suicide bombers detonated explosive vests after failing to overrun a police checkpoint in Yayha Khel district, Paktika province, Afghanistan. Five police officers and all six assailants were killed in the attack. Three police officers were also injured as a result of the blasts. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
