Incident Summary:

05/14/2012: Two gunmen hijacked the vehicle of Mohammed Ali, the deputy director of Internal Revenue, from his home in Kano city, Kano state, Nigeria. Ali's security system disabled the car, so the assailants returned to his home and demanded he override the system. When Ali refused, the assailants shot and killed him. No group claimed responsibility for the attack; however, officials suspected Boko Haram.
