05/19/2012: A suicide bomber detonated his explosive device at a police checkpoint in Ali Sher district, Khost province, Afghanistan. Besides the assailant, 13 people, including three police officers, were killed and an unknown number injured in the blast. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
