Incident Summary:
05/25/2012: An explosive device planted inside a water cooler targeting Abdullah Abu Talib detonated at a trading house in Rada district, Al Bayda governorate, Yemen. Talib, deputy of the General People's Congress party, and two others were injured in the blast. The Company of Um al-Mu'minin (Mother of the Believers) A'isha, an affiliate of Ansar al-Sharia and a subgroup of Al-Qa'ida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), claimed responsibility for the incident.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
Criterion 2
