05/31/2012: An explosive device detonated near a vehicle carrying the district counterterrorism chief in Eidgah area, Dasht-e-Archi district, Kunduz province, Afghanistan. Four people, including the chief and his three bodyguards, were killed and two additional people injured in the blast. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
