06/02/2012: Assailants kidnapped three people in Bhagalpur city, Bihar state, India. The bodies of the three victims were discovered on June 5, 2012; their throats had been slit. A Maoist commander reported the next night that the abductees had been killed as a punishment for cooperating with the police.
