06/12/2012: A suicide bomber riding an explosives-laden bicycle detonated in the vicinity of a police patrol in a market in Charbolak district, Balkh province, Afghanistan. In addition to the bomber, three people were killed and five injured in the blast, including several police officers. No group claimed responsibility, but officials attributed the incident to the Taliban.
