Incident Summary:

06/22/2012: Afghan assailants attacked a Levies checkpost in the Upper Dir district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan. At least one assailant and one police officer were killed and two officers were injured in the ensuing firefight. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
