Incident Summary:

07/03/2012: Assailants planted an explosive device at the site of a helicopter landing area in Ovacik village, Tunceli province, Turkey. The helicopter was transporting soldiers but did not land after the pilot realized that the ground had been disturbed. Investigators discovered and defused the device. No group claimed responsibility for the incident, but authorities suspected the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
