07/14/2012: A suicide bomber detonated an explosive device at a wedding in Aybak town, Samangan province, Afghanistan. The target was the father of the bride, a member of parliament. At least 23 people died, including the lawmaker, and at least 60 more sustained injuries in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident, but sources suspected the Taliban.
