07/23/2012: Gunmen attacked a military barracks with mortars and gunfire in Albu Slaib area, Saladin governorate, Iraq. Fifteen people were killed and four wounded in the attack. This was one of 41 coordinated incidents that were part of the assailants' "Breaking the Walls" campaign. Al-Qaida in Iraq claimed responsibility for the attack.
