07/27/2012: Assailants detonated an explosive device in Lice district, Diyarbakir province, Turkey. The blast targeted a military vehicle; two Turkish soldiers were killed, and two others, a soldier and a civilian, were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, security officials attributed it to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
