Incident Summary:

08/01/2012: An explosive device detonated near the Balgandharva Theatre on Jangali Maharaj Road in Pune, Maharashtra, India. At least one person was injured in the blast. This was one of six attacks in Pune on the same day. The Indian Mujahideen claimed responsibility and stated that the incidents were carried out in retaliation for the death of an Indian Mujahideen affiliate, Qatil Siddiqi, at Yerawada Jail.
