08/01/2012: An explosives-laden vehicle detonated at a fruit market in Lahore city, Punjab province, Pakistan. This was one of two explosions at the fruit market on this day. The blast killed two civilians and injured 21. The United Baloch Army (UBA) claimed responsibility for the attack and stated that it was in response to aggressive actions by security forces against the civilian Baloch population.
