08/03/2012: An explosive device detonated inside of a mosque in Chaparhar district, Nangarhar province, Afghanistan. Nineteen civilians, including the mosque's imam, were injured by the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, authorities attributed it to the Taliban.
