Incident Summary:

08/07/2012: Armed assailants attacked a local branch of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) with kegs of gasoline in Warri city, Delta state, Nigeria. The assailants threatened to lynch journalists and burn the office if they were not granted media coverage. The assailants assaulted a journalist, vandalized a car, and smashed glass doors in the office. No group claimed responsibility for this incident.
