08/15/2012: An explosive device detonated at a fairground in Thoubal district, Manipur state, India. Four people were injured in the blast. This was one of three attacks occurring within a few hours in Manipur state on this day. The Coordination Committee (CORCOM) claimed responsibility for the coordinated attacks, stating that they were part of the group's protest against the Independence Day celebrations.
