08/27/2012: An assailant identified as an Afghan National Army (ANA) soldier opened fire on North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) troops in Laghman province, Afghanistan. Three individuals, two United States (US) soldiers and the assailant, were killed in the clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
