08/30/2012: An explosive device planted along an El Cerrejon coal railway track detonated, targeting a cargo train in La Guajira department, Colombia. There were no reported casualties; however, the cargo train and railway track were damaged in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, officials attributed it to the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC).
