09/03/2012: Gunmen attacked the convoy of Mehrabudin Safi, the Kapisa provincial governor, in Tagab district, Kapisa province, Afghanistan. Four attackers and four police bodyguards died in the ensuing gunfight. No group claimed responsibility for the incident, but sources attributed it to the Taliban.
