09/04/2012: Assailants set the Latrun Monastery on fire and wrote defamatory slurs on its walls in Latrun area, west Jerusalem city, West Bank and Gaza Strip. There were no reports of casualties in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident, but authorities attributed it to Jewish extremists, believing it to be part of a larger campaign of "price tag" attacks.
