Incident Summary:

09/07/2012: Assailants attacked a Syrian Army fortress in the Hanano area of Aleppo city, Aleppo governorate, Syria. In the ensuing 48-hour battle, four attackers and 18 Syrian soldiers died. The Syrian Army was eventually able to repel the attack. Al-Nusrah Front claimed responsibility for the incident.
