Incident Summary:

09/15/2012: An Afghan Local Police (ALP) officer, Gul Agha, opened fire on British International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) soldiers at a military checkpoint in Nahr-e Saraj district, Helmand province, Afghanistan. Two soldiers died and three were injured in the attack. Soldiers were then able to kill the assailant in return fire. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
