Incident Summary:

09/16/2012: A rogue Afghan National Army (ANA) soldier opened fire on a group of six Lebanese construction workers doing contract work for North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in Garmsir district, Helmand province, Afghanistan. An unknown number of laborers were injured in the attack. The attacker, who thought the construction workers were NATO soldiers, was arrested after the shooting. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
