Incident Summary:

09/22/2012: Assailants attacked the Sehit Mehmet military outpost with rockets and gunfire in Nazimiye district, Tunceli province, Turkey. This was one of two simultaneous attacks on two different outposts in Nazimiye. One soldier was killed and four injured across the two attacks. No group claimed responsibility for the incident, but sources attributed it to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
