Incident Summary:

10/16/2012: Assailants opened fire on a group of fish traders near Buganza village, North Kivu province, Democratic Republic of the Congo. At least four civilian fish traders were killed in the attack. This was one of two related attacks in Buganza on this day. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, authorities attributed it to the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Rwanda (FDLR).
