10/20/2012: Assailants attacked the residence of Haruna Adamu, a retired police officer, in Potiskum city, Yobe state, Nigeria. Seven people, including Adamu, his wife, and three children, were killed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, authorities suspected Boko Haram.
