10/24/2012: Assailants attacked the Mayan Dara bazaar in Pashtun Kot district, Faryab province, Afghanistan. At least 25 assailants, five police officers, and two civilians were killed in the clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed it to the Taliban.
