10/24/2012: Assailants in Gaza launched a rocket that was intercepted by the Israel Defense Forces' (IDF) Iron Dome system in southern Israel. This was one of seven rockets that were successfully intercepted and one of 10 total attacks in the area on the same day. No group claimed responsibility for the incident, but sources suspected Hamas (Islamic Resistance Movement).
