11/05/2012: A car bomb detonated in Mazzeh district, Damascus, Syria. At least eleven people were killed and 31 were injured in the blast. The Mazzeh area is home to the Alawite minority, a Shia Islam sect, as well as embassies and security buildings. Seif al-Sham claimed responsibility.
