Incident Summary:

11/08/2012: Assailants bombed an oil pipeline in Mafraq al-Sa'id district, Shabwah, Yemen. There were no reported injuries; however, the pipeline was damaged and the blast caused a fire. The pipeline was owned by the Korea National Oil Company. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) is believed to be involved.
