11/28/2012: Assailants planted an explosive device in the trunk of a vehicle belonging to Attuf Abdu in Alfrin city, Aleppo governorate, Syria. Abdu, the son of the leader of the Kurdish Popular Council, was not killed in the blast and there were no reported injuries. No group claimed responsibility for the unsuccessful assassination attempt.
