Incident Summary:

12/03/2012: Fifteen assailants attacked two facilitators in San Jose De Buan town, Samar province, Eastern Visayas region, Philippines. The facilitators, who worked for the Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan-Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (KALAHI-CIDSS), were both injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, authorities attributed the attack to the New People's Army (NPA).
