Incident Summary:

12/06/2012: After stopping a vehicle and its passengers, police discovered and defused a large explosive device in Cregan city, Londonderry district, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom. The three people in the vehicle were subsequently arrested. This was one of two bombs discovered in the area on the same night; the incidents occurred hours before the arrival of United States (US) Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to the country. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspected that the New Irish Republican Army was involved.
