12/24/2012: A member of the Afghan Local Police (ALP) opened fire on his colleagues at a checkpost in Darzab district, Jawzjan province, Afghanistan. At least five police officers were killed in the attack. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident, stating that the assailant defected.
